One conversation can change everything.
Let's start the journey together

About me
My name is Ida Andersson and I am a certified counsellor and couples and relationship therapist, trained at Humanova Education.
My work is based on psychosynthesis – an integrative form of therapy that focuses on human potential and development. I am also inspired by methods such as ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy), schema therapy, compassion-focused therapy and dialogue-based approaches similar to those used in Imago therapy.
As a person, I am warm, attentive, and committed. I carry with me a deep respect for each person's unique path, and I believe in the power of conversation to create both clarity and change.
In the meeting with you, I strive to be present, safe and clear – so that you can explore what feels difficult, important or longing, at your own pace. For me, therapy is not about fixing someone, but about creating space to understand yourself deeply and find strength in what is already within you.
My aim is that every conversation should be a place where you can be just human – not performance or demands – and where new perspectives can emerge with caution, courage and direction.
About my background
I have extensive experience working in both preschool and schools, as well as in the telecommunications industry. Those years have meant many wonderful and developing lessons. When my children had grown up and moved out, I chose to follow my passion for supporting others in their personal development and moved to Gothenburg to train as a counsellor at Humanova Utbildning.
The years in preschool and school have given me valuable experience of being present, attuned to others’ needs, creating safety, and responding with empathy and warmth. My time in the telecommunications industry has developed my ability to work in a structured way, be flexible and understand complex patterns – qualities that are equally essential in therapy when supporting others through their processes.
My path toward counselling has given me a deep understanding of human needs and the ability to create a safe and supportive therapeutic space.
I believe in the importance of listening and being fully present in order to truly understand others’ experiences and to help them find their own ways toward change and growth.
As a therapist, I work from an integrative and empathetic approach, seeing each person as unique.
I help my clients explore their thoughts, emotions, and life situations, and together we find ways to greater self-awareness, inner balance, and a higher quality of life.
It is important to me to create a safe, respectful relationship where you feel seen, heard, and supported on your journey toward a more harmonious and meaningful life.
To continuously grow in my work as a therapist, I attend regular supervision, which helps me maintain a high professional standard and ensure that I can always offer the best possible support to my clients.
I am a member of the Swedish Psychosynthesis Association and follow their ethical rules.
